One of the great things about living in a digital world is that we can easily find, download, and print sheet music. For public domain music, this can even be for free! Here are some websites that I use to find digital copies of sheet music.
makingmusicfun.net - this site has both free and paid downloads of leveled music from beginner to intermediate. The lists of downloadable songs are categorized by instrument, level, and style (classical, Christmas, etc.). You can also listen to the arrangements on the website.
8notes.com - this site has sheet music categorized by instrument and style. Once you select a piece, you can chose from optional transpositions and search for other similar pieces.
musescore.com is notation software and allows users to download and print other people's arrangements. This is a good site for finding songs that are not necessarily easy to find elsewhere
sheetmusicplus.com is an online music store that offers downloads as well as printed sheet music for order. Yes, you will have to pay for your scores, but they will be high quality and you will probably be able to find exactly what you are looking for.
These are some of my favorite sites for downloading scores. What sites do you use?
