Piano and Theory Teacher

 

Miss Julie first fell in love with the piano when she was only two years old and saw someone playing in church. She began learning to play keyboard and read music when she was four years old, continuing to play through high school. She attended Judson University where she earned a BA in Music Ministry with a Piano Concentration and minor in Piano Pedagogy. While a student at the university, she began teaching for the community music school and instantly fell in love with teaching. The honor of being a teacher and mentor to her students, combined with the challenge of finding ways to help each student succeed makes it her passion and life's work. 

She graduated with honors in 2009 and started her teaching studio in Loves Park in 2010. 

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, reading, and binge watching shows on Netflix.
