New School Year!

We're coming to that time again. A new school year. For a teacher, this means planning schedules and lessons setting goals for the semester. For students, it generally means a more consistent schedule and more stability in that sense, though maybe less time to practice.

Here are a few things to help get back into the swing of things for lessons and practice.

First, if you have not been consistent in lessons over the summer, try to get start a couple weeks earlier than school starts. Ease back into it.

Next, as far as you know your school year schedule, plan in practice time and get into the habit of practicing then before the school year hits fully.

Finally, remember that the crazy of back to school is a short time and it will be OK! We'll all get back into the normal routine before you know it.
